Gyrotonic® is a training method based in principles of yoga, dance, tai chi and swimming. Unlike yoga (and most workouts), there’s an emphasis on rotation and spiraling movement that doesn’t have an end point. At Longevity Pilates, we teach Private Gyrotonic® Sessions using the beautiful piece of equipment called the Gyrotonic® Pulley Tower. You use handles and pulleys to enable sweeping, arcing movements, and there’s a uidquality that goes hand in hand with your breathing. At the end of your Gyrotonic® session, you will feel every part of your body has been moved stretched and strengthened, your posture has been elongated and opened and you’ll feel as if you’ve had a massage. People often say, “I didn’t even know I had muscles there!”

Each private session begins with a warm up series, then progresses into the fundamental Pilates principles utilizing various pieces of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. With a focus on your feedback, fitness level and goals, your instructor will create a customized program to help you achieve your goals. Private sessions are perfect for those who are new to Pilates and hoping to become familiar with the equipment and practice, as well as for those who are experienced and looking for the next challenge. Think of your private sessions as you would any investment – the more you put in, the more you’ll get back.

Introductory Gyrotonic® Package – 3 sessions

Here’s how it works:

 1) We start with a 15-minute phone consultation prior to our first appointment. From there, we’ll schedule your first in-studio appointment.

2) In-Studio, 75 minutes Assessment Session: We’ll begin with 15 minutes discussing your key challenges and goals and then spend 60 minutes assessing your movement during a Gyrotonic® Movement session tailored to your level and goals. At the end of this session, you will have a clear understanding of how the Gyrotonic® Method can support your goals and we will begin developing a personalized program of exercises.

3) 2 – 60 minute Follow Up Sessions: In these sessions, we will move through a Gyrotonic® Movement sequence designed for your goals and experience level while focusing on key


While we highly recommend you begin by experiencing 3 sessions, we understand that option might not work for everyone. For that reason, we offer a Single 75-Minute Assessment Session: $165


Ongoing Gyrotonic® Instruction

Here’s how it works:

All good things take time, and we believe in order to have a rich and beneficial experience, 90 days is optimal to your progress and results.

During these sessions, we will continue to develop your Gyrotonic® Practice in the studio and at home with 2-3 monthly sessions to support your goals!

We have 2 options for you to learn and deepen your Gyrotonic® and Somatic Movement practice: These can be purchased in-studio with your instructor.

1) TWO SESSIONS PER MONTH (FOR 90 DAYS).

Includes:

  • 2 – 60 minute sessions per month (6 total) over 90 days

  • Bonus access to an online portal with home exercises

  • $750 single payment or $250/month

  • Renewable every 90 days

2) 3 SESSIONS PER MONTH (FOR 90 DAYS).

Includes:

  • 3 – 60 minute sessions per month (9 total) over 90 days

  • Bonus access to Dawn’s online portal with home exercises
