Meet Our Team

Sara King - Owner

Certified: Pilates, Gyrotonic®, Barre, Aerial Pilates

Sara believes that movement heals and feeds our body, mind and soul. Her passion for Pilates is reinforced daily as she witnesses the transformative powers of the method.

With 20+ years of Pilates teaching experience, Sara works with clients to not only increase their fitness level, but to increase quality of life and break free from chronic pain.

What she loves most about Pilates is that it’s a very smart approach to movement, you must be present and in the moment during the exercises, there is no room for outside distractions.

That kind of focus is a great gift to ourselves. When not at the studio, Sara loves to check out new restaurants around town, is trying her hand at fly fishing and is a mom to two awesome kids and a Great Dane.

Alexandra discovered a love for Pilates while studying dance in college. Though it wasn't until she got on a Reformer that she wanted to dive deeper into the work. Alexandra connects with the mindfulness that comes from working in a controlled and efficient manner, and she tries to bring that feeling to all of her classes.

Alexandra's Pilates and massage practices both focus on women's health and fitness. She has the following special training, Advanced Certification Pregnancy, Labor, and Postpartum Massage, Pre/Postnatal Pilates Specialist, Pilates for Menopause, Post-Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist, Diastasis Recti Recovery, and Craniosacral Therapy.

When she's not in the studio, Alexandra is likely out exploring St. Paul with her husband, daughter, and dog. They also love spending time at home in the kitchen, garden or patio.

Christa

Certified: Pilates, Doctor of Physical Therapy from Tufts University

Christa is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with over 12 years of Pilates and movement experience. She specializes in pelvic health and oncology rehabilitation and brings the latest evidence-based research into every class she teaches. Christa’s passion for movement is deeply personal—after being diagnosed with breast cancer at 36, it was her commitment to movement that carried her through treatment and continues to guide her as a survivor.

She understands the importance of helping people feel strong and capable at every stage of life. The values she brings to both her life and her Pilates practice are Resilience, Kindness, and Curiosity, and she encourages her clients to embody these as well. Curiosity invites exploration and openness to new movement; Resilience means gently pushing beyond perceived limits—mentally and physically; and Kindness is giving yourself grace, especially on days when things feel harder than expected.

When Christa is not treating patients or clients you will find her traveling with her husband, Jeff, walking with her mini Aussiedoodle, Bernie or crafting with friends.

Greer took her first Pilates lesson on a whim back in 2005 - and never looked back. She went on to complete a rigorous and highly respected teacher training (The Pilates Center in Boulder) and has been teaching full-time ever since. With experience working with clients from teens to late 80s, she bring compassion, precision, and a whole lot of joy to every session.

New to Minnesota, Greer’s either in the studio, in the air (she loves aerial arts!), or soaking up all the Twin Cities has to offer.

Gwen

Certified: Pilates

A self-proclaimed Pilates nerd, Gwen started practicing Pilates in the late 90’s by doing Mat exercises she saw in a women’s health magazine.

The difference she saw in her core strength and stamina encouraged her to take classes at local studios and eventually pursue Pilates as a career.

“Pilates helps me appreciate my body and how strong I can be when I participate in structured workouts. I love that Pilates can be tailored to be inclusive for everyone. I enjoy that there is always more to learn as a student and a teacher. No matter what level you are, there is always a new challenge that awaits”.

So many areas of Gwen’s life benefit from her Pilates practice and she enjoys having conversations with others who feel the same. Outside of the Pilates studio, Gwen has a 20+ year career in Human Resources. In her free time, she likes to dance, travel and attend concerts.
