Tower class FAQ’s
When do Tower classes start?
Sunday, March 3rd! 🎉
When are the Tower classes?
Sundays at 12:00 PM – All Levels
Tuesdays at 6:30 PM – All Levels
Thursdays at 8:00 AM – All Levels
Fridays at 11:00 AM – Gentle Tower Pilates
How do I book a Tower class?
You’ll book your Tower class the same way you book Reformer classes—through Momence.
How many people are in a Tower class?
6 people. Small groups so you still get lots of personal attention and cueing.
Can I use my Reformer class pack or membership for Tower classes?
Yes! Your class packs and memberships can be used interchangeably for both Reformer and Tower classes.
Will there be different levels of Tower classes?
Similar to our Reformer classes, we’ll offer both All Levels and Gentle Tower classes.
All-Levels Tower Pilates
A dynamic, full-body Pilates class using the Tower’s springs to challenge strength, stability, and control. You’ll work with classical Pilates principles to build power, balance, and precision in a fun and focused setting.
Recommended for clients with 10+ Reformer classes or prior private experience and not for brand-new students.
Gentle Tower Pilates
This supportive Tower class focuses on mindful movement, stretching, balance, and strength using the springs for both assistance and resistance. Modifications are always offered, making the class accessible while still providing a thoughtful challenge that helps you progress in your Pilates practice. Perfect for those looking for a slower pace, more guidance, and steady, sustainable improvement.
Recommended for clients with 10+ Reformer classes or prior private experience and not for brand-new students.
Who are Tower classes good for?
Tower classes are great for anyone who already has some Pilates experience and wants to deepen their practice. They’re especially helpful if you enjoy feeling the feedback of the springs, want to work on strength and control, or love a mix of Mat and apparatus-based exercises.
Are Tower classes hard?
They can be! The springs offer support, but they also demand a lot of control, precision, and stability. Think “challenging in a smart, satisfying way” rather than overwhelming.
I’m new to Pilates—should I start with Reformer or Tower?
Private Sessions are always best by far, but we recommend at least 10 Reformer classes, before dipping your toes into Tower class territory.
How is Tower different from Reformer?
Tower work blends elements of Mat and Cadillac using springs from different angles. You’ll often find the exercises feel more about control, stability, and managing the springs, while the Reformer involves more moving carriage work.
Do I need to take a private session before trying a Tower class?
That depends. If you’re new to Longevity, yes—private sessions or prior Reformer experience are required before joining a Tower class.
I want to try a Tower class but am not sure if I’m ready. What do you recommend?
We highly recommend booking a private session. We can use that time to do a 1:1 “trial run” of a Tower class so you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to jump in.
What should I expect in my first Tower class?
Expect a full-body workout focused on strength, mobility, balance, and control, with plenty of cueing from your instructor to help you learn the setup and the spring system safely and effectively.
